ARM Launches New Japanese DevZone Web Site; Japanese Developers Offered Local Language Version of ARM DevZone Web Portal

CAMBRIDGE, England, Nov. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- ARM [(LSE: ARM) (Nasdaq: ARMHY - news)], the industry's leading provider of 16/32-bit embedded RISC microprocessor solutions, today announced the launch of the Japanese language version of the ARM® DevZone(TM) Web site, specifically designed for the Japanese Developer Community. Following the launch of the global ARM DevZone Web site in April 2001, the new Japanese language Web site brings together developers, ARM third parties and silicon Partners in Japan, to help them develop ARM core-based systems more quickly.

ARM also announced that Computex, eSOL, Gaio Technology, Midoriya, Sophia Systems and Yokogawa Digital Computer have joined the Japanese ARM DevZone Web site. The Web site will give each of these ARM DevZone Partners development advice, open communication forums and advanced access to new ARM technology at an early stage.
